美国商务部宣布组织航天业供应商代表团访华(英文版)

The DOC's International trade Administration has announced that it is organising a trade

mission to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guangzhou and Zhuhai during 7-17 November for U.S.

companies in the aerospace sector. This mission is similar in scope to a groundbreaking

trade mission to the mainland that was conducted in autumn 2008 and came about as a result

of continued requests from many small and medium-sized enterprises supplying the aviation

industry. The objectives of the mission include: (1) introducing U.S. companies to mainland

Chinese joint-venture groups and Western original equipment manufacturers; (2) exploring

supplier opportunities under other aerospace programmes, including Chinese programmes and

Western programmes with Chinese firms; and (3) facilitating an effective U.S. presence at

Airshow China, to be held in Zhuhai beginning on 16 November.

The ITA notes that China's aerospace sector ranks among the world's most dynamic and goes

far beyond the country's massive investment in aircraft. Mainland Chinese aerospace firms,

including those linked to U.S. and European "primes," now frequently make their own

sourcing decisions, participate as risk sharing partners in new airframe and engine

development programmes or take on the role of first-tier suppliers on Chinese programmes.

The evolution of the mainland Chinese aerospace sector is part of a broader industry toward

supply chain consolidation and lean manufacturing.
